The short version: NotezZz is free, provided as-is with no guarantees, and your notes belong entirely to you. Keep your own backups of anything important.
1. What NotezZz is
NotezZz is a note-taking application for Windows and the web, offered free of charge. It stores notes on your device and, optionally, in your own Google Drive account. There is no subscription, no account with us, and no payment.
2. Your notes are yours
You retain all rights to everything you write, draw, photograph, or record in NotezZz. We claim no ownership or licence over your content, and we never receive it. Your notes are stored as ordinary files you can open, copy, or move without NotezZz.
3. Your responsibilities
- Keep your own backups of anything you cannot afford to lose.
- Use NotezZz lawfully, and don't store content you have no right to store.
- Look after your Google account credentials; access to them is access to your notes.
4. Google Drive
If you choose to sync, your notes are stored in your own Google Drive under Google's terms
and privacy policy. Availability of that sync depends on Google's services, which are
outside our control. NotezZz requests only the restricted
drive.file permission — see the
Privacy Policy.
5. No warranty
NotezZz is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Software has bugs; sync can fail; devices break. Plan accordingly.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any lost data, lost profits, or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of NotezZz. Since the software is provided free of charge, no refunds or compensation apply.
7. Availability and changes
The app and this website may change, break, or be discontinued at any time without notice. If NotezZz ever disappears, your notes remain in your Google Drive and on your device as plain files — nothing is locked away.
8. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version. Continuing to use NotezZz means accepting the current terms.
